First, a little history about Pro-Trans.
Established in 1999, Pro-Trans is the largest transmission repair shop in northern California. Yeah, we are a “large shop” repairing and replacing thousands of transmissions a year. What does that have to do with you? Well, all that time and success translates into experience that allows us to easily serve you. We have seen it all! Although we specialize in repairing your automatic or manual vehicle transmissions, we have no problem servicing your vehicles breaks, water pump, fuel injection system, battery, suspension and more. We are prepared to handle practically any service your vehicle may need.

We are easy to find. Only 2 minutes from the Interstate 5 and Highway 44 interchange. We are easily found on highway 299, west of the Sacramento river. If you are stranded on the side of the road near Redding, CA. call us and we will find you, tow your vehicle if needed, and help you get back on the road. We definitely do “full-service”.

Not only are we ASE certified, we are factory trained technicians who have put in the years required to be experts at transmission repair. You might like to know we have been working together since the the old Yellow-Pick-Up-Truck-Joy-Riding days of old. We go way back together and our stories are memorable to say the least! We repair car, truck transmissions at a fraction of the dealer price. How can we do it at a fraction? For one, we are factory trained transmission technicians. Our experience allows us the option to make repairs here at our shop. We actually reapir your transmission at our location. That’s right! At our location instead of exchanging it with some high priced middle man. We do the repair work onsite and that offers a saving we pass onto you. We think that is pretty cool!
